At the start of the game, a tutorial guides you through the basics. Pressing the "Pump" button accelerates downhill, while pressing the "Spin" button allows you to spin in the air. You can tilt the joystick in various directions to perform various aerial tricks. By the way, tilting your iPhone also affects your tilt angle on the bike. While there's a lot to learn, Pumped BMX 3 does a pretty good job of making it easy to pick up and play.

Many levels are crucial for accumulating enough energy to complete. Often, you'll need to repeatedly play through levels to familiarize yourself with the layout and master when and where to use tricks. Fortunately, restarting takes almost no time. Skillfully using various tricks and different ways to perform them does require a certain level of skill balance, but once you succeed, the sense of accomplishment is immense. It truly embodies the saying, "Don't run before you walk."

I don't usually rate games. I usually get frustrated with games like this because they're either too simple and boring, or they're impossible to get comfortable controlling. This is great. I don't get pissed when I crash because restarting is fast and easy. Controls are plenty but easy to navigate. A+.

Awesome game, very fun! Some of the challenges are darn near impossible combo and some of the tracks are extremely difficult but that just makes it more fun in my opinion. Some people are saying that the tilt controls are annoying and buttons would be better but i dont think they understand that to have buttons for tilt you would need to have 3 thumbs to complete some of the thumbs. The current control config is fine once you get used to it. Button tilt controls would break the game.

This game is probably the best budget bmx game on mobile and I love all the detail you put into this game, but there are a couple things you should fix, because one night I was grinding the game with a friend and I tried to complete a bell challenge and when I hit the The bell rang, and I completed the level. It said I didn't do it, and I read the instructions clearly. I heard the bell when I hit it, but it didn't count. Overall, it's a really good game, and I'm still looking forward to seeing more stages.
