YouTube ReVanced Extended is a modified version of the YouTube app through which you can enjoy this streaming platform with a multitude of additional features. Among the features that ReVanced Extended offers by default, you'll find the ability to block all the ads on this platform. ReVanced Extended is also compatible with add-ons and plugins. For example, there's SponsorBlock, which allows you to skip sponsored content in videos, as well as channel introductions and reminders. If you like a channel and want to support it, you can remove it from the block list so its videos can display ads. On ReVanced Extended, there's also a feature called Return Dislike, which brings back the counter that shows the number of dislikes a video has. Other interesting features include the ability to download videos up to 4K at 60 FPS, use sliders to change a video's volume or brightness, keep listening to a video even when your screen is off, and watch videos in a smaller window while using other apps.
Features:
SponsorBlock: SponsorBlock is an open-source project which skips sponsor content, intros, outros, & reminders in the video.
Old Layout: If you don't want to use the all-new layout in your YouTube, just enable the old layout option.
Shorts Component: You can hide/unhide shorts components such as the Shorts button, Shorts Shelf, Comments, Remix, Thanks and Subscription buttons.
Return Dislike: Return YouTube Dislike (RYD) is an open-source project which allows users to view the dislike count in every video.
MicroG: MicroG allows users to log in to their Google account to retrieve subscriptions, history, playlists and more.
No Ads: Ads are annoying. Right? with ReVanced Extended, you can remove advertisements in Home, Videos, and more places.
Downloads: Download videos up to 4k 60 FPS. However, it requires PowerTube (or) NewPipe (or) Seal to be installed on Android.
Whitelist: Want to support channels you love? Just use the whitelist option to see channel ads and sponsors. You can undo this whenever you want.
Swipe controls: Adds swiping gesture to the video player. With this, you can control brightness and volume (up & down).
Highlights:
Background playback and HDR video quality are excellent upgrades
The ad-blocking functionality is maybe the most crucial use. This factor significantly enhances the user experience and positions ReVanced as a superior alternative to the original YouTube app. The YouTube ReVanced APK is presented as the official successor to the YouTube Vanced platform, offering users the chance to transition to a more powerful version of the platform effortlessly. This alternative YouTube app for Android devices offers a user-friendly interface along with necessary upgrades and improvements. Users can revert to the previous version if the new ReVanced iteration needs debugging. This guarantees a seamless transition during the app's development phase.
Ensuring root access compatibility with YouTube ReVanced is notable
ReVanced is more accessible than custom versions produced for rooted smartphones since it supports a wider variety of users. Android users may easily install ReVanced and use its wide range of features, regardless of having root access or not, by following simple steps. The official alternative to Vanced is the YouTube ReVanced APK, available for download from YouTube. The software, despite being in its early stages, offers fundamental YouTube Advanced features and impressive improvements to safeguard the viewing history of YouTube Vanced.
YouTube has the potential to be a highly beneficial addition
Revanced can be downloaded as an alternative to YouTube on Android smartphones, similar to YouTube Vanced. Users can choose to switch back to the previous version of the Revanced app if the current version is deficient in functionality and needs more development. As Revanced APK is presently unavailable, there is much conjecture over its compatibility with YouTube. I found no evidence in my investigation indicating that Revanced necessitates the elimination of YouTube.
This program is compatible with devices with or without root access
YouTube Revamped can be easily installed on any device using simple ways, even if the device does not have root access. However, Android users found that the official app was not yet accessible, leading many to give up on building their personalized version of the Revamped APK. It is reasonable to avoid criticizing individuals who find the process of extracting data and developing custom software less enjoyable compared to quickly downloading and installing an APK. Many people believe that these techniques are designed just for rooted devices, but this is not true for YouTube Revanced.
