Advantages
Download series and movies for later
One of the great advantages of HBO Max is that it allows you to download movies and series so you can watch them whenever you want, even if you're offline. This way, if you're planning a trip, you can download everything you want to watch in advance, so you can enjoy it even if you don't have an Internet connection or your device is in Airplane Mode. Keep in mind, however, that these downloads will expire after a few days.
Different audio and subtitle options
One aspect that many users appreciate is that they can choose the language they want to watch their series and movies in. HBO Max will normally let you choose whether you want to watch content in the original language or dubbed into your own language. In addition to this, almost all its series, documentaries, movies and cartoons have subtitles in several languages. You can easily adjust the subtitle language from the settings.

Advantages and disadvantages
Pros
Cheaper. Yes, compared to HBO GO which requires you to subscribe to TV provider, HBO NOW is cheaper. It only asks for a subscription provider monthly fee which you can pay directly using the app. Until this very time, the monthly fee offered is up to $14.99.
On-demand. Another benefit is its on-demand shows which you can watch immediately.
Easy way to pay. That is true. It gives you the easier way. You can pay the fee through online services such as iTunes and Google Play and other services like Amazon, etc.
Replicating the TV experience. Watching your favorite HBO shows doesn’t have to be in front of TV in your home, but you are now able to replicate the experience anywhere and anytime you want.
Cons
Restriction. Not every service is going to work on every device for example. Like, if you use Comcast then you can’t watch the content of HBO Go. So, just make sure that you use the device that can connect with this app.
