I am using Blynk to control and monitor my homebrew Wemos D1 ESP-8266 solar charge controller. It does everything I need and is reliable. Learning curve was reasonable once I'd worked out how to connect it. The free limitation of 2 devices allows me to have a production and development system. It would be nice to have more devices and widgets but did I say it was free?! :-)
Wow this is an absolute dream system for easy configuration and setup to a working system. I spent many many hours trying to assemble and learn a Node.js stack, html, JavaScript etc to get a web/app interface to some ESP devices. HUGE learning curve and not sustainable unless using regularly. I got a basic system running with Blynk in a couple of hours!
Great..Solve my remote Sailboat Monitoring problem with short time development. I have a sailboat and now I can receive and remote control an output to switch on a security camera, by the App...Every three minutes, all the information updated in the app...Really good...And, to develop the application, very easy, very intuitive, without complexity...Short time to run.....
