Highlights of Eyecon:

Call frequency becomes a dimension for contact organization. Rather than arranging contacts alphabetically or by category, you can sort your address book by how frequently you communicate with each person, surfacing your most-contacted individuals at the top of your list. The app also includes a game-like feature that periodically prompts you to review and update contact photos, framing contact maintenance as an interactive activity rather than a strictly functional task.

An availability checker feature allows your contacts to signal whether they are currently free, busy, or available for a callback. This real-time presence information lets you assess communication readiness before reaching out, reducing the uncertainty of leaving messages without knowing when someone might respond. The presence indicator integrates directly into your contact view.

Your own contact information is subject to privacy controls that allow you to manage your appearance in other users' address books. This directional privacy system lets you regulate your representation in others' contact lists independently of how you've organized their contact information. When contacts have you saved, they see only the details and photo you have chosen to share with them.

Account creation requires only a phone number, with no obligation to link social media credentials. Though the app can integrate with external platforms to enhance your contacts, doing so is optional. This approach separates the technical capability to pull in external contact data from the necessity of granting the app access to your social media accounts, giving you control over which external services to connect with.

User Reviews of Eyecon:

I love the app they do need improvements such as speed and letting me know who is calling and faster blocking. I do want to thank you and other developers for helping me. I cannot answer fast enough either. However, y'all found a number that has been giving me hell! I appreciate you! I am getting used to using this. As virus advances y'all do to!

after setting eyecon app as default, the dialer key board and call log are not showing on the screen which are very much essential . How the calls other than the contact will be dialed when needed by the user. also it is difficult to add a new number in the contact list. please resolve the issues. Dialer is ok.but call log is not found when the app is opened.model Nothing mobile (2a) plus.A142P. I got the call log from history page. It is ok. Thanks to the Developer.

Eyecon Caller ID is one of the best and most popular apps I have used. However, it has one issue: when I go to view messages, the full message thread does not appear. It only shows the latest message from the company or person, but I cannot see the previous messages from that sender. I would like to request the Eyecon team to add this option in a future update. I hope you will solve this problem.

Eyecon is a very useful and reliable caller ID app with a clean interface and excellent reverse lookup feature. The Premium version is worth using. One important suggestion: please add an option to delete individual or all records from the ID → Messages and Reverse Lookup sections. This would make the app even better and more privacy-friendly. Highly recommended!

Summary:

All in all, Eyecon is a great phone app alternative to try out. It has customization options that let you control how your list looks and how your own information will look to other people. The ability to check with a person before a call is pretty handy, too. However, it’s really slow in loading certain features—and sometimes, that frequently happens despite a stable internet connection.
