Features of Moon Phase Calendar:
The calendar feature within the app allows users to view a selected month while displaying important parameters related to both the Moon and the Sun. This functionality makes it easier to track lunar phases and solar events over time, facilitating effective planning around these natural cycles. Furthermore, the compass view provides a visualization of the azimuths of the Sun and the Moon, along with elevation angles, based on the user’s selected location. This feature aids in understanding the positions of these celestial bodies in the sky.
Notifications are a key component of the Moon Phase Calendar. Users receive real-time updates regarding the current Moon illumination and its phase name, ensuring they are always aware of the Moon's status. The app also notifies users of upcoming significant lunar phases, allowing for appropriate preparation and planning in advance. The ability to check the parameters of the Moon and the Sun for any date, whether in the future or past, adds considerable value. Users can even look up important dates such as their birth date to see how lunar phases corresponded to their lives.
Availability for offline use means that users can access the app's features without requiring an internet connection. This is especially useful for individuals who may find themselves in areas with limited connectivity but still want to track lunar and solar information. The offline capabilities ensure that users have access to vital information regardless of their location.
The app also boasts a widget that visualizes the current phase of the Moon directly on the user's home screen. This feature allows for quick and easy access to lunar information without the need to open the app itself. Users can stay connected to the lunar cycles at a glance, making it a convenient option for those who frequently monitor lunar activities.

User Reviews of Moon Phase Calendar:
I've had this app for 5 years on the free version and have never needed to upgrade. I use this app to time when the moon is in my sun sign in order to fast for Chrism rites. The ads are so minimal and have never been a nuisance. I definitely plan to pay for the ad-free version just to support this team because the app is always spot on, works, and customer-centric. Keep up the amazing work.
Great app. Monthly calander tells you the phase for every day. there is a "day" tab (main section, moon symbol) that is useful for a quick glance to see the phase & sign of the moon, and also the next 4 main phases. there are also several other tabs that are useful (and which prompted me to make this review.) if you click on the calander, and from there click on the middle symbol, which is a waxing crescent and the Aries symbol, you can easily see the sign of the moon for the entire month.
Super informative! I just love this app. It's free and you don't have to deal with annoying pop up ads. It's packed full with information about lunar cycles, sun cycles, and so much more information. I came back to add to my review because it's so rare when an app says it's "free", it really is! Thank you for those that developed it! Don't forget to use the super adorable moon widget.
Moon Phase Calendar is awesome! I use it to help me plan my timing to get where I need to be and set up and take photos of the moon as well as sunrise and sunsets. You can't beat the price and only need to watch a short video ad, and you have no ads for 24 hours. That is if the small ad at the bottom bothers you that much. I've never had one pop-up and block info. Sorry to ramble, short version... This app delivers the goods, get it, you won't be disappointed! Oh, and the widget is awesome too.
Conclusion:
Download Moon Phase Calendar to consult lots of important information related to the sun, the moon, and its phases. Create a widget with the current moon phase, access updated data whenever you want, and never miss a full moon again thanks to this app's notification system.
