Considering that the game is free, I’m willing to overlook a lot of things. For example, there are many flaws in the gameplay — your player sometimes performs acrobatic moves, and most of the goals end up being headers, which adds an unrealistic element to the game. There are also players who score up to 60 goals per season, which is also a bit unrealistic.However, the game has its positives too. For instance, the interface is simple (in my opinion, even better than Football Manager 24). Transfers and player scouting are also simplified and enjoyable. I would also like to see the removal of player "boosts," as they make the game less realistic and add a bit of a pay-to-win element.Overall, as a free football manager game, it’s not bad — I’d give it a solid 7 out of 10.On the PC version, there are also no ads, which is great compared to the annoying ads on mobile.

Downloaded Soccer Manager 2025 thinking it would be a chill football sim. Now I’m 4 seasons deep, my star striker hates me, the board is threatening to fire me, and I’ve spent 3 hours negotiating with a 19-year-old winger who wants “a yacht and eternal love” in his contract.Every match feels like life or death — one moment you’re a genius tactical mastermind, the next you’re screaming at your goalkeeper who dives like he’s trying to catch butterflies. I started this game with friends, but now I’ve become that manager who yells at imaginary referees in his room at 3 AM.10/10, I may never touch grass again, but at least my virtual team will lift the Champions League.

With the new SM26, some stuff was revealed. I pretty much think that the game is fun, the animations when you watch a game are questionable, but overall a very great game! Only things that i would add are: a steam workshop (or mods in general), and at least 2 new and free save slots , maybe make each slot payable for like 2 or 3 euros. This way the company could keep getting money, while people woulnd't have to pay 25 euros for some save slots. Overall, good game!
