Omg. I downloaded this app about a week ago (free version) and saved my text messages (sms) and uploaded to drive. Six days later I lost my phone in a stream!! My new phone didn't retrieve old messages! : ( --- but thankfully SuperBackup is able to restore from my file!!! I had to temporarily make it my default messager to do so - I couldn't restore from my message app, but it works!! I now have all my messages!!
This app is just amazing. One of the first things to make sure you have on a new phone. It's incredible but it's almost like there's nothing it won't do that you need when it comes to making sure you lose nothing on your phone: Log your calls, texts, contacts, even your apps and photos with no mistakes no glitches and with Incredible speed. Seriously if you have ever lost a phone and lamented the loss of contents, you owe it to yourself to get this app. There's just nothing comparable on the market.
It backups important cell phone The app presents data in a user-friendly manner with several flexible options. It has the option to automatically upload backup files to Google Drive and automatically records my phone calls. What else can I ask for? A+! Recently, I switched to another cell phone as my main phone. Super Backup & Restore did a great job transferring all my contacts, calendar, call logs, and SMS data between cell phones. A+ again!
Conclusion
Super Backup: SMS and contacts can be set to back up selected data regularly. This ensures that all important files have the latest backup copy. However, if you use certain applications (such as Task Manager), you should ensure that the backup application is added to the whitelist so that it can start automatically and perform the backup.
