User's Comments of RawBT Print
This is clearly the best thermal printer app on the market with the best image dithering options and lots of additional features. However, the pricing is a bit rough for occasional hobby usage. TrueType font size setting doesn't seem to actually do anything. I was able to get the WebSocket API working, but the JSON format wasn't really documented at all. I would like to also have the "Crop the frame around" option when I use 'share photo' to print. Currently works only for pdf.
Brilliant. I bought a PeriPage and was disappointed that you had to basically cut and paste from other apps (I bought CalcTape Pro for budgeting). Tried a few print services and only RawBT worked perfectly out of the box. I'm not bothered about the logo and will happily pay the subscription for periods I need it without the logo. If the printer works out for me then I am sure I will just pay the lifetime license for £20 it is more than worth it. A************************
The recent update of the driver has made a lot Of improvements. The fonts are now bolder, and printouts are very clear and good too. However, my challenge is that I haven't been able to print in portrait mode because the printer always prints only half of my receipt. This is why I've ended up using landscape mode, which prints the whole receipt. I've reduced the font size but not to any. I'm using a 58mm thermal mini POS printer. Any suggestions are welcome.
Final Verdict
RawBT Print Service is an easy-to-use application suitable for a wide range of users. Furthermore, its portability allows you to use it anytime, anywhere, whether at the workplace or at home. With this application, office workers and students can print documents more easily.
