Orbot: Tor for Android is a highly secure VPN application. It provides the most secure internet experience. Instead of a direct connection, it redirects your encrypted traffic multiple times to servers around the world. While this introduces some latency, it's a small price to pay for security. The application prevents those monitoring your traffic from seeing what you access; they only know you're using Tor. Furthermore, it can protect and unlock specific apps, allowing less secure applications to work effectively.
Usage
The application menu allows you to select which apps will use Orbot's services, so with a single click, you can fully protect your privacy on any app you're using, such as Twitter.
One of the best apps to pair with Orbot: Tor on Android is Mozilla Firefox, just like it does on Windows. This means that if you're using the Android version of Firefox, the app will perform at its best, providing comprehensive privacy protection while browsing the web.
Orbot redirects your encrypted traffic multiple times to computers around the world, unlike other VPN and proxy applications that connect directly.
Features
No other choice: Orbot is the most secure way to use the internet on your Android device. Without a doubt. Unlike other VPNs and proxies, Orbot redirects your encrypted traffic multiple times to computers around the world, rather than connecting directly. While this process takes a little longer, the strongest privacy and identity protection is definitely worth the wait.
App privacy: Any app can be routed via the Tor network through Orbot VPN functionality.
Protect everyone's privacy: Orbot prevents anyone monitoring your connection from knowing which apps you're using or which websites you're visiting. Anyone monitoring your network traffic can only see that you're using Tor.
