Wonderful Features of Mera Ration

Seamless Nationwide Portability

The platform allows users to exercise their food security rights at any FairPrice store nationwide without a new physical card. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for migrant workers, ensuring they always have access to subsidized rice or wheat. By utilizing existing National Food Security Act (NFSA) credentials, the system breaks down geographical barriers and simplifies the food distribution process for every eligible citizen.

Real-Time Equity Tracking

Through this digital interface, you can easily track your specific food ration information, which is updated in real-time with your available balance. Beneficiaries can accurately check the amount of wheat, rice, or coarse grains they are entitled to at the official subsidized price. This transparency prevents overcharging at the point of sale and ensures that every household receives the government-supported nutritional resources they are entitled to.

Smart Location Service

Finding nearby discount stores is no longer a guessing game, as the tool integrates a map function that guides users to the nearest authorized store. This feature is crucial for those living in unfamiliar areas or recently relocating for work or family reasons. By providing a comprehensive directory of stores selling, the service saves significant time and effort, making everyday shopping more convenient.
