Google Now Launcher is a fun and functional app. It boasts beautiful graphics, a clean user interface, and numerous smart Google features, providing a unique user experience. With Google Now Launcher, you can use text or voice search directly from your home screen and enjoy various advanced ways to use Google services. It replaces the default launcher and puts core tools in one place, reducing the time you spend switching between screens. Furthermore, the app features a convenient search function; simply tap the search box on the home screen to immediately enter your query.
Highlights:
The Google Now Launcher transforms the front-end of your device. Much like other launchers such as Nova and Go EX, it alters the look and behavior of things like the home screen, the app drawer, the way apps launch, and app icons.
So, what does it actually change? Lots of things actually. For starters, the Google Now 'contextual assistant' service is just a left-swipe away from your home screen. Here you can view all of your cards at a glance, checking the latest weather, traffic info, and content from the web that you might be into.
Another big advantage of the Google Now Launcher is that it gives you 'always-on' access to Google's voice search. You simply need to say "OK Google" then bark a search term or command at your device. This only works when your device is unocked and you're on the home screen but it does make for a time-saving way of checking stuff.
In terms of design and layout, The Google Now Launcher uses a modified version of the stock Android home screen. It dispenses with the five-screen approach though, and reduces it to three screens, (with the option to add more).
App icons in Google Now Launcher are slightly bigger than the stock Android ones and are more spaced-out in the app drawer, meaning that if you have lots of apps installed you'll be flipping screens a lot to get around.
Features:
OK Google
Google Voice Assistant is a great feature as it allows you to use your voice to ask Google Assistant to do anything. With the Google Now Launcher, OK Google is active on the Home screen and you just have to use the keyphrase to activate the assistant. Unlike the default launchers, Google Now allows you to keep it right on the home screen and access the assistant anytime you want.
Faster Search
When you want to search for something on Google, you have to open the browser, then open Google and then search manually. That’s time-consuming and not convenient at all. That’s where the Google Now Launcher comes into play. With the search bar right on the home screen, you can search for anything without opening the browser. When you search on the search bar, the launcher will automatically start the browser and show you the search result. That is super quick and convenient.
Wallpaper Picker
Every launcher comes with a custom set of wallpapers to choose from. Google Now Launcher is not an exception and you can access a wide range of wallpapers with the wallpaper picker. There are certain Google Pixel wallpapers available in this app, that you can choose and apply on your phone. The new wallpapers are updated regularly and you will find only the best wallpapers in this feature.
Easy Access to Google Apps
Instead of downloading and installing Google Apps like Gmail, Keep Notes, Calendar and others, you should get the Google Now Launcher. This app provides easy access to all of the Google services without installing the apps. Even if you have the apps installed on your device, they can be launched automatically by the launcher when you provide a command to the voice assistant or do certain gestures. That’s very convenient for improving productivity and saving time.
