Highlights
Watching a movie or TV show is one of the best leisurely pastimes one can do. There are so many choices that cater to all types of preferences. However, there are just as many video formats available now that will cause compatibility or playback issues for some. That is why universal media players became a popular choice, and SAX Video Player: All Format Video Player is one of them.
When you first open this video player, you are greeted by a clean and minimalist UI. You can pretty much play anything from popular formats like MP4, MKV, and FLV to less common ones like WebM or OGG. You also have access to various playback options like controlling speed, changing aspect ratios, and using multiple subtitle tracks simultaneously, just to name a few.
What's more, you even get a Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode to let you watch a movie or show while you're working on something else. Now, this video player is free, and as such, operates on an ad-supported business model. However, the ads are quite intrusive and appear too frequently. That, in turn, has a negative effect on the viewing experience when you're connected to Wi-FI or mobile data.
