Color is key:
SAI is a popular product among online artists communities, including DeviantArt. One of the reasons it has earned so many fans is because it offers full digitized support. It works on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. Anyone who likes to get expressive with their digital pen can be creative with this program. Picking up the way it works and the different tools is easy, so the learning curve is a fun experience instead of a challenge.
The choice of colors is excellent, which means if you can imagine it, you can create it. You can change the appearance of a color by adjusting saturation. There is also an option to change the luminescence. Different effects are achieved by using different brushes when drawing, including airbrush, watercolor, and pen. You can adjust the pressure of the brush, so it responds differently to your touch.
Features:
Create illustrations like a pro
Unlike other simpler drawing programs, PaintTool SAI allows you to create designs in a professional manner. Thanks to a host of virtual tools, this software can help you draw lines and shapes with total precision. What's more, if you use a digitizing tablet, feeling the pressure behind each stroke will be very easy. This way you can adapt the thickness and intensity of your sketches with the intention of creating eye-catching illustrations.
Remove distortions
Using anti-aliasing technology, PaintTool SAI helps you smooth textures and create stunning results. By taking advantage of the performance of your PC's graphics card you can generate high quality sketches without affecting your computer's performance. So, after a quick rendering, you will get a final result that you can later export in the format of your choice.
Add layers to your projects
Similar to other design programs for Windows, such as Adobe Photoshop, in PaintTool SAI you have the possibility of adding layers to work independently on each of them. This is also interesting when you want to modify certain parameters of the design without affecting the whole piece.
Pros & Cons:
Pros
